Current and completed research Covers South African research projects in various disciplines including masters and doctoral theses of SA universities and technikons as well as information on research projects from NGOs, the private sector and government departments. All non-English titles of projects are translated into English. Abstracts are included for completed projects from 1988 onwards.
DATAD Database of African Theses and Dissertations containing citations and abstracts for dissertations completed in African universities. To search and access the brief citations, you must first register at the site and then login.

NDLTD - Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations The Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations is an organization dedicated to promoting the adoption, creation, use, dissemination and preservation of electronic analogues to the traditional paper-based theses and dissertations.

TREN - Theological Research Exchange Network Provides citations to 6,800 theological theses, dissertations and conference papers. Items can then be purchased through this site. The opening page actually states that they have 10,000 theses/dissertations, but the search page allows searching of 6,800 items.
Union Catalogue of SA Theses and Dissertations subscription via SABINET Online Bibliographic information about theses and dissertations completed at South African universities since 1918.
University of Leiden - Dissertations online Open access to the University of Leiden thesis collection, On January 1, 2005, a collection of Dissertations was set up as part of the Institutional Repository of Leiden University. As of January 1, 2006, it is obligatory for all Doctoral candidates to contribute the digital files of their dissertations. The collection is searchable using author, title, or keywords.
